Appealing to a growing number of people with demanding schedules or the need for comfortable clothing choices, the athleisure clothing trend has been steadily growing over the years! The functional outfits that are characteristic of this trend are intended for wearing during a workout, at the office or casually around town (while still looking fabulous, of course). Think about it, when is the last time you went out shopping or running errands and didn’t see someone in yoga pants?
The popularity of athleisure clothing also has another benefit: it’s an all-inclusive way for brands to appeal to consumers! Even though some may still shop their favorite brands, the athleisure trend makes it increasingly easier to attract the attention of different demographics. This fluidity in clothing and functionality has the potential to help smaller brands become recognized as viable options against their higher-end counterparts!
